Baby Emmanuel Akorede Oluwasey Noibi was a little boy born on November 9, 2015 and found unresponsive in a home-based daycare in Chicago on November 20, 2016. In the Nigerian language of Yoruba, his middle name Oluwasey means “God made this” and certainly God did create this precious boy. His funeral Mass was held at St. Mary Parish in Buffalo Grove followed by burial at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines, Illinois. Fr. Damasus, a Nigerian priest for the Archdiocese of Chicago, officiated the Mass and sang the final commendation in Baby Emmanuel’s native language.
