By October 15, 2007No Comments

Atcel, “The Naperville Boy” was laid to rest at Assumption Cemetery in Winfield, Illinois. Initially an unknown child, he was discovered in a gym bag thrown off the interstate in Naperville in 2005 and was believed to be between 3 and 5 years old. His body was too decomposed to be identified. RiHA named his Baby Joseph after the Old Testament story of Joseph who was thrown into a well by his brothers. In 2011, thanks to DNA, outstanding forensic research, and his sister’s bravery in telling his story, the child was identified to be Actel, a little boy almost 3 years old when he was murdered by his father.
